Additional benefits described in the book include reduction in inflammatory markers, improvement in dyslipidemia, high blood pressure, insulin resistance, overweight, and obesity. Also included is the effect of exercise on glycemic control in those with type 1 diabetes and how to deal with the added glycemic fluctuations brought on by exercise.

I’m so glad these two books are now on Amazon. Personally, I would love to see them both available in Kindle versions. I realize I can get them in ebook form as PDFs, but I would find them much more usable and easier to deal with in the Kindle format, rather than PDFs – easy to read on a cell phone (no matter brand) or on any type of computer (Kindle app can be downloaded onto basically all types of common operating systems). Thanks for the books and for your blog.

Thanks for your comment. I too like to read books on Kindle or iBooks. I check with Ellen to see if we can do that next.

Hello, I downloaded a book via the “books” tab of your site. It’s called the Ketogenic Diet For Type 1 Diabetes. I found it very useful.- so clear and concise: it helped me create goals and a diet very easily. I read/devoured it in two days. The funny thing is that I only realized afterwards that, you, Dr Runyan are one of the authors (I guess I shouldn’t have skipped the bios at the beginning of the book, huh?). I love it. I recommend it. Thank you. 🙂 Marie T (belgium)
